Features and Structure Behind Wind Grade 8 and 10
A zip-track roller blind resists wind by locking its fabric edges inside aluminium side tracks with welded zipper teeth. Both edges stay captured in the side channels along the full drop, so the fabric remains tensioned and flat across its width instead of flapping or billowing. The manufacturer states wind resistance of grade 10 for the manual models and grade 8 for the motorized models; those are factory ratings rather than project-specific certified wind-pressure test reports.

01 / Casing
Rugged, clean die-cast casing
The cassette houses the rolled fabric at the top of the opening. The cassette and the side tracks are aluminium alloy, so the fabric is held along its full drop and cannot pull out of its side channel. An aluminium alloy bottom rail keeps the lower edge stable across the span.

Anti-wind and anti-wrinkle side rail
The fabric edge carries a zipper running inside each aluminium side track to hold the screen flat and resist flapping. This side-retention system provides manufacturer-stated resistance of wind grade 10 for manual models and grade 8 for motorized models.

Anti-wrinkle, anti-tear and anti-sun fabric
The composite fabric combines polyester, glass fibre and PVC in a 565 g/m² weave. The manufacturer states tear strength at warp ≥2650 N/5 cm and weft ≥2450 N/5 cm, with a B1 fire-retardant classification and water-proof, oil-proof and wear-resistant properties. The dense weave also cuts solar glare.

Dense-weave fabric sheds water
Water droplets bead on the grey dense-weave fabric, which is stated as water-proof, oil-proof and wear-resistant. The even-dense yarn helps the surface resist water and oil.
